At this exhibition, IMAGIN mainly showcased the DST double feeding double twisting machine, FWA automatic tube changing and doubling machine, and FT90 chemical fiber double twisting machine. These models are mainly aimed at providing new support for the yarn processing field (twisting and winding technology) in the Indonesian textile industry. Although the Indonesian market has developed rapidly in traditional textiles in recent years, the overall level of technological advancement in the textile industry is still at a relatively low level, and the introduction of higher cost-effective automation upgrade equipment is also a trend in the later stage of development.
Finally, a general analysis of the domestic market in Indonesia in recent years is as follows: rapid urbanization and industrialization have improved the living standards of the Indonesian people, and disposable income has also increased accordingly. In the fourth quarter of 2022, Indonesia's per capita GDP grew by 13.96%. In addition, it is expected that Indonesia's population will continue to increase. With population growth and changes in lifestyle, the consumption of textiles will continue to increase. Clothing and other textile products produced in Indonesia are exported to multiple countries such as Europe and the United States, using well-known global brands. The Indonesian Minister of Industry commented, "By April 2022, the export value of manufacturing reached $19.08 billion, an increase of 27.92% compared to the same period last year. The Ministry of Industry will continue to maintain a positive trend in industrial sector export growth." Indonesia is one of the top ten textile producing countries in the world, and the textile and textile industry is one of the most important industries in the Indonesian economy, providing employment opportunities for over 3.7 million Indonesians. In 2022, the textile industry accounted for 6.12% of Indonesia's manufacturing GDP and 1.04% of the total GDP. The total GDP of this industry in 2022 was $1.19 trillion, with a production value of $13.8 billion. In Indonesia's overall development plan "Industry 4.0", the government plans to promote Indonesia to become one of the top five textile producing countries in the world by 2030; The export target for 2024 is set at a value of 13-14 billion US dollars, and many domestic manufacturers are also seeking more dynamic cooperation partners in their textile equipment and technology. For emerging markets like Indonesia, which is growing rapidly, it will definitely be a good target for input in the coming years. Compared to the already mature domestic market, there will be relatively more opportunities and cooperation gained from the textile market in emerging regions.
